Duties

• As visitors arrive, give them a warm welcome and show them to their tables.
• Organize waitlists and bookings effectively to guarantee precise seating assignments.
• Give menus to visitors and let them know about any specials or offers.
• Help with taking bookings, answering phones, and giving out restaurant information.
• Work together with the wait staff and kitchen to maintain a seamless service experience.
• Keep an eye on the eating area to make sure everyone is happy and quickly resolve any issues that may arise.
• Help with the professional handling of visitor complaints, questions, and special requests.
• Make sure the waiting room and host/hostess station are tidy, well-maintained, and appealing.

Qualification/Requirement:

It is desirable if you have prior experience in the same position.

• Prior experience working with customers as a host or hostess or in a related function is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A personable and kind manner with an emphasis on making guests feel satisfied.
• The capacity to work in a hectic setting and keep a cheerful outlook.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to oversee several projects concurrently.
• The ability to work different shifts, such as weekends, holidays, and evenings.
• English proficiency is required; other languages are a plus.
• It is advantageous to be familiar with reservation systems.
• It is preferred to have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• An excellent eye for detail and the capacity to design eye-catching baked products displays.
• Understanding of health and food industry regulations.
• Advanced ability to multitask and adhere to bakers’ directions.
• Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
•  An equivalent degree from high school

• Flexibility in working hours and days, including Saturdays
• Ability to lift 35 pounds while standing for the most of the day
• Competent with hand tools
• Experience with general helper  for at least a year
