Duties of Car Mechanic
- Systems for commercial transport trucks might have parts and components adjusted, repaired, or replaced.
- To find flaws and malfunctions, inspect and test mechanical units.
- Automotive system components and parts can be adjusted, repaired, or replaced.
- Modify, fix, or swap out truck-trailer system parts and components.
- Replace or fix mechanical parts or units.
- Examine and modify restored systems in accordance with manufacturer’s guidelines.
- Calculate the cost of labor and parts for car maintenance and repairs.
- Execute the planned maintenance task.
- Test and modify the units to meet the requirements.
- Inform clients about completed work and necessary future repairs
- Complete reports to document issues and completed work.
- Mentor and train trainees
- Deliver client support.
- Examine the car’s engine and its mechanical and electrical systems to ensure a precise diagnosis.
- Examine and fix, maintain, and improve the computer and electronic systems in your car.
- Perform routine maintenance with the goal of extending the lifespan and usefulness of the vehicle (changing fluids, lubricating parts, etc.).
- Plan upcoming maintenance appointments and provide drivers with advice on safe vehicle usage.
- Fix problems (such as leakage) and replace or repair damaged or malfunctioning elements.
- Give precise estimates for the cost, time, and labor of a repair or maintenance task.
- Maintain task and problem logs.

Qualification/Requirement:
- Solid background as a car mechanic
- Good understanding of the electronic, mechanical, and electrical parts of automobiles
- working familiarity with car diagnostic techniques and systems
- Possession of diverse tools (e.g., pliers) and large machinery (e.g., lift)
- A readiness to follow all safety guidelines in order to guard against hazardous substances, accidents, and other dangers.
- Superb bodily state
- An apprenticeship or certification from a vocational school is recommended above a high school degree.
- A valid certification (like ASE) is unquestionably advantageous.
